Amid the rush of the city, where buses blur past and footsteps echo across the pavement, a quiet invitation stands—four yellow periscopes, seemingly emerging from an invisible world beneath the streets. Stories We Never Knew Existed is a portal to the unseen, a surreal encounter in an everyday setting.

Much like submarine periscopes peering into the unknown depths, these structures urge passersby to look beyond the surface of their routine. Inside, they reveal glimpses of fantastical and surreal stories—fragments of imagined worlds, waiting to be discovered by those who pause long enough to see. The artwork transforms a public space into a site of curiosity, a place where reality bends, and hidden narratives unfold within the ordinary.

By placing these objects in a bustling cityscape, the piece suggests that extraordinary tales exist all around us—whispering from forgotten corners, buried beneath the noise of daily life, waiting for someone to lean in and listen. It is an invitation to wonder, to reimagine the familiar, and to uncover the unseen stories woven into our surroundings.

這是我以前在精典創作的互動式裝置藝術，一樓戶外廣場莫名多了好幾個淺水鏡，讓人不由自主地探頭，裡頭畫面連結著許多人童年回憶，對這個藝術創作有印象嗎？感謝與我合作的金典酒店(LAB)，擷果創意。

In 2015, I worked together with Hotel Splendor (LAB) and Creative Ideation to create an installation using a periscope in front of the hotel/mall. Inside the periscope are images that tell different stories about childhood that we all can relate to.
