Pingtung, Taiwan
This installation symbolizes a fusion of sound, nature, and human presence, transforming wind into an ethereal voice. The upside-down red glass bottles could represent vessels of memory, emotion, or tradition, with their openings acting as portals for the wind to pass through, creating an otherworldly melody. Red, a powerful color in Taiwanese culture, symbolizes good fortune, energy, and transformation, while the eastern gate placement could signify welcoming new experiences or communicating with unseen forces. The installation invites visitors to listen, not just with their ears but with their spirit, turning the wind into a storyteller and reinforcing the idea that sound is deeply connected to space, culture, and the passage of time.
